The CSU Office of Water Programs is a nonprofit

Foundation. This office develops and impliments operator training programs,
and training manuals for operators of water treatment plants, water distribution
systems, wastewater collection systems, and municipal and industrial wastewater
treatment and reclamation facilities.

Water Academy (DWA)
Established by the U.S. EPA Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water, the
Drinking Water Academy (DWA) is a long-term training initiative whose primary
goal is to expand EPA, State, and Tribal capabilities to implement the 1996
Amendments to the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA).

ITEP was established in 1992 with a vision of helping Indian Tribes manage
their environmental resources through effective training and education programs.
• The Maryland Center for Environmental Training is celebrating 20 years of providing comprehensive training and technical assistance for environmental compliance and occupational safety and health. Training is offered at sites throughout Maryland and is approved by the State of Maryland for water and wastewater operator certification renewal. MCET also provides on-site technical assistance to Maryland's communities and businesses. MCET helps to ensure that water and wastewater treatment facilities fully comply with the stringent provisions of the Safe Drinking Water Act and the Clean Water Act.

[EPA Technical Assistance Center Network]
The small public water systems TAC form a network with a goal of protecting
public health, improving water system sustainability, and enhancing compliance.
TACs apply university resources to address the needs of rural and small public water systems or public water systems that serve Indian Tribes in the areas of technology verification, pilot and field testing innovative technologies, and training and technical assistance.
